GREETINGS, TRAVELLER!
This lil' lady is me, Bethan "Beebs" Vincent, and I'm an illustrator and comic artist based in Wales, UK. Proficient in all things comedy, fantasy, and romance. I also really like goats.
I have a bachelor's degree in illustration and more ideas than my silly little brain can handle. I love creating works that are vibrant, joyful, and immersive, and strive for authenticity in everything I do.

MY ORIGIN STORY
I’m a Welsh girl, born and raised, from the depths of Swansea. A humble start to my soon-to-be amazing underdog story when they recall my legacy in the future.

IT skills at age 3
From young, I have always had a passion for storytelling and creating my own characters. At the sweet age of 3 years old, I would create narratives for the princesses and fairies I’d design on dress-up games on my mam’s laptop. When I was a bit older, I’d draw the characters myself, giving them personality-driven magical powers, and being heavily influenced by Winx Club and Disney Princesses. Then, at 12 years old, the vast potential of an iPad mini was bestowed upon me, levelling up my drawing game.ve and made me into the artist I am today.

That's me on the far right!
I’m a bit weird—nay, unique! But I believe this gives me an edge in the creative world, as I have a distinct perspective towards art, problem solving, and my general perception of the world. It could also be because I’m autistic. Either way, I'm logical, honest, and critical while creating fun and expressive work, which is why you should definitely consider contacting me for a commission or two!
My whole life, I’ve been quirkier than the other kids: using made-up lingo, acting strangely, making odd gestures (which did not do me any favours towards bullies!). Overall, just different. For a while, I tried to dilute myself, becoming more digestible to the average Joe, but deep down, I knew I wasn’t living authentically. Although, is any teenager, really?

Through my art, I was able to express myself more genuinely, and I learned over time to value my true identity over the expectations of others. This growth, while still ongoing, pushed me to improve and made me into the artist I am today.

Development of my character, Sona, from 2015, to 2017, and 2024
At 19, I moved to Surrey, England, to pursue my artistic passions at the University for the Creative Arts, and, while my peers were out partying, I stayed in my dorm doodling and playing video games—what a life! My experience at uni pushed me to build confidence in both my art and in myself, as cliché as it sounds.

Now, I am in my 20's, creating characters, comics, and worlds while I take on a part-time job. I have plenty of commission experience under my belt, but I’m hungry for opportunities and would love to explore more of my creative potential.
